For the 11th time, I will be in the cast of the Chicago Bar Assn's Christmas Spirits Show--this year titled "Lawpocalypse Now." Hear me sing! Hear me play guitar! Watch me act! Watch me commit attempted dancing (okay, in my case, organized walking and arm movements). Note that this year, our run begins on Wed. Dec. 5 and ends with the first matinee performance we've had in over a decade on Sun. Dec. 9--so you early-to-bed folks have no excuse. The entire cast is comprised of lawyers, judges and law professors. (Next time you hear a judge respond to an attorney, "What are you, some kind of comedian?" or "Are you trying to give me a song & dance?" you'll finally learn the answer). This parody-laden vaudeville gridiron music of bench & bar is always tuneful, entertaining and irreverent.....but never irrelevant.
