Nah, we don't really HATE the holidays, just get exasperated by them. This annual tradition was started by Stephen Lee Rich at Madison, WI's Escape Java Joint, moved to the Brink Lounge and then a terrific house concert in 2010 (which I missed courtesy of the perfect storm of mishaps: a blizzard, back sprain, and garage burglary that morning which shattered my car window).  We're moving it to the Chicago area this time, to give our fans and colleagues here a chance to share the merrim.....uh, crankiness.  Confirmed to join us thus far are Andrew Calhoun and Norm Siegel; watch for several more!
