Sandy helps lead Folk Alliance's only Havdala service (interdenominational Jewish, all people welcome) in the Ceili Productions room 1827. Come participate in and observe this brief, joyous and lovely service bidding farewell to the Sabbath and ushering in a good and hopeful week. There will be a ritual Havdala set provided, but if you have your own besamim (spice boxes-usually ornamental, but even a plastic film can or pill bottle with holes in the lid, containing aromatic sweet spices, herbs, orange peel or flower petals, will do) please bring it to share and enhance the experience and sweetness of the service.
