Merle Reskin Theatre

Much to Sue About Nothing - 7:30 pm

60 E. Balbo
Chicago Illinois US
Price: $40 main, $35 mezzanine

For my 15th year, I am part of the Chicago Bar Association's 94th annual parody musical, The Bar Show--at the historic Merle Reskin (formerly Blackstone) Theatre. This year's title is "Much to Sue About Nothing," with Shakespeare and his characters anchoring the show.  We spoof current events, world affairs, politicians, athletes, celebrities, social phenomena and our fair city itself. This year, look for me as (among other roles) German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Lots of singing, acting, dancing, a bit of rapping (but not too much) and laughs galore! Ticket prices are even lower than in years past, and way lower than any other downtown Chicago theater show. Only four performances--so get in on the fun before seats are gone!

Broadway Armory

"The Neighbors" Holiday Concert - 1 pm

5917 N. Broadway
Chicago Illinois 60660
USA
Price: Free!

Join my next-door neighbor, singer-songwriter/actor/writer/director John S. Green as we perform original songs, standards (from the folk canon to Broadway to the Great American Songbook), and songs of the holiday season--funny, serious and everything in between. It'll be 100% family-friendly, so bring the (well-behaved) kids too. We may even have a special guest or two!

The Broadway Armory is on the e. side of B'way between Thorndale and Ardmore (yup, it's BIG, so ask directions to our show once you're inside). Plenty of street parking as well as a lot adjoining it to the north. Only a block or so w. of the CTA's Thorndale Ave. Red Line station, and right on the #36 B'way bus.

Wild Hog in the Woods

The Holiday Concert for Those who Hate (or simply tolerate) the Holidays - 7:30 pm

953 Jenifer St.
Madison Wisconsin 53703
US
Price: $3 non-members, $2 members

Once again, I will be Stephen Lee Rich's special guest (solo and with Andina & Rich) at his annual Holiday Concert for Those who Hate the Holidays. (Just as long as ice doesn't close the highways)! Other special guests TBA. Holiday-themed (and other) songs, sketches, monologues, poetry and maybe a twisted take on the year in review. We'll be in the Wild Hog in the Woods Coffeehouse inside the lovely and historic Wil-Mar Center a block uphill from Madison's Willy Street Corridor. Parking in the lot across the street as well as on-street. Refreshments--including Steep & Brew's Wild Hog in the Woods Blend, created just for the coffeehouse, soft drinks, and cookies--available. Great acoustics and friendly folks too!
